Catena Media hires GAN executive ahead of US push
Michael Daly joins affiliate firm this week as general manager of US igaming
Catena Media has hired GAN executive Michael Daly as the affiliate firm’s new general manager of igaming in the US.
The firm said the hire would help it prepare for further strategic growth in the regulated US market.
Daly, who took up his new position yesterday (Tuesday), was previously executive vice president for North America at platform provider GAN, where he built the US marketing and operations teams.
He also held the CEO position at Automated Cash Systems, providing financial solutions for casinos, and established the online gaming divisions at SHFL entertainment and Bally Technologies, both of which were acquired by Scientific Games.
“Recruiting talent is a key driver for success in the affiliate marketing industry, and has long been a part of Catena Media’s strategy for growth,” the firm said in a statement today.
Daly added: “To join a market leading lead generation company like Catena Media is really a great opportunity.
“I hope to contribute with my vast experience from gaming and iGaming, and to play a key role for Catena Media’s further growth in the US. I look forward to having the possibility of furthering our lead in the US market.”
Catena has been ramping up its US operations in recent months with the acquisition of BonusSeeker.com and PokerScout, and claims to be the biggest affiliate firm in the regulated market thanks to sites like Play NJ and Online Poker Report.
