Sportradar pens multi-year betting rights deal with US Soccer
Supplier inks deal to expand the distribution of the federation’s data and content around the world
Sportradar has penned a deal with US Soccer to become the federation’s official betting data partner in a multi-year partnership agreement.
Under the terms of the deal, the supplier has gained the exclusive rights to collect, license and distribute US Soccer’s official betting and media data for US and international markets.
The deal covers more than 111 matches per year across US men’s and women’s national team competitions and domestic tournaments.
These include the SheBelieves Cup and the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup. The deal also covers major global soccer events, such as the 2024 Copa America, the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and the 2028 Olympics.
Sportradar has also been given exclusive distribution rights for live AV streaming of US Soccer competitions for betting purposes. Outside the US market, the deal allows US Soccer to commercialize its data and content via Sportradar’s global network.
In addition, the pair will collaborate on developing bespoke data-driven solutions to help expand existing fan relationships and attract and engage new US national team supporters.
US Soccer will also use Sportradar’s Integrity Services for bet monitoring via its Universal Fraud Detection System, Intelligence and Investigation services, Integrity Audit, and education and prevention, including anti-match fixing workshops.
Eric Conrad, EVP of strategic partnerships and content at Sportradar, said: “The profile of soccer globally across both the men’s and women’s game is the highest it’s ever been. At this important moment for the sport, this partnership reflects the shared commitment we have with US Soccer to bring the sport to a larger audience both domestically and on an international level.”
Ross Moses, VP of business ventures at US Soccer, commented: “The partnership with Sportradar is massive for US Soccer. It’s well recognized that the next four years are an unprecedented opportunity for American soccer, and partnering with an industry leader like Sportradar sets an amazing foundation for US Soccer to protect the integrity of the sport while engaging a competitive and fast-evolving marketplace.”
This deal adds to a number of global soccer partners for the supplier, which now include FIFA, UEFA, CONMEBOL, Bundesliga, and the Asian Football Confederation.
