WynnBet becomes sports betting partner of Cincinnati Reds
Marketing partnership aimed at building operator’s brand awareness throughout Reds Country
WynnBet has announced a partnership with the Cincinnati Reds that will see the online sports betting operator and MLB franchise collaborate on marketing efforts throughout the remainder of the 2021 season.
As part of the deal, WynnBet will gain access to official Reds marks and logos for use across its online and digital assets.
The two parties will also collaborate on co-branded promotional offers uniquely available to WynnBet Indiana customers, including tickets to Reds games and team memorabilia.
The union will help WynnBet continue its expansion efforts throughout Indiana, the border of which sits about a 30-minute drive from Great American Ball Park in downtown Cincinnati, with Reds Country occupying a swath of the greater region.
WynnBet officially launched in Indiana on April 1, joining a growing marketplace as the 10th online sportsbook in the Hoosier State.
Competing with the likes of FanDuel, DraftKings, and BetMGM in a market that’s amassed over $3.6bn in handle since launching online sports betting in September 2019, WynnBet is clearly striving to reach potential customers beyond the borders of Indiana through its union with the Reds.
The partnership continues an industry-wide trend of marketing-centric deals between operators and professional sports leagues and teams, which help provide trust and credibility for sportsbooks to fans and potential bettors.
WynnBet already has similar deals with the Memphis Grizzlies, Detroit Pistons, and NASCAR, in addition to being the official online sportsbook of the Martinsville Speedway and Richmond Raceway.
