12BET to sponsor Taekwondo World Championships
Asian firm to boost brand exposure with BBC-televised taekwondo events in London
12BET has agreed a deal to sponsor the World Taekwondo Grand Prix and World Para Taekwondo Championships in London.
The Asian-facing operator has partnered with GB Taekwondo for the event which takes place between 19-22 October at the Copperbox Arena.
12BET spokesman Rory Anderson said: “I am really pleased to be involved with the 2017 World Taekwondo Grand Prix and World Para Championships.
“I am looking forward to 12Bet receiving great brand exposure in key markets and both events should be spectacular. We wish all involved the best of luck.”
Chair of GB Taekwondo Julia Newton said: “We are proud to be hosting the best Taekwondo athletes in the world for the Grand Prix and World Para Championships in London.
“12BET has recognised the global reach and value of our sport and event and we are delighted to have them on board.”
Taekwondo is the latest sport to partner with 12Bet after its recent sponsorship of the badminton World Championships and the table tennis World Cup.
