Aspire Global revenue up 43% after sportsbook launch
Malta-based provider reports record revenue and EBITDA as sportsbook solution turns heads during World Cup
Aspire Global today reported record revenue of €24.7m in Q2, marking an increase of 43% following the launch of the supplier’s sportsbook solution in Q1.
B2B revenues increased by 39% to €12.4m as EBITDA also hit record levels of €5.7m, rising 58% from the same period last year despite exiting the Australian market.
According to the Malta-based provider, the strong Q2 performance was driven by an increased focus on the partners and brands with the “highest potential”.
Q2 was the first full quarter to include revenues from Aspire Global’s sports vertical which grew to almost a tenth of B2C revenues and boosted performance for two partners, Goliath and Nossa Aposta.
Aspire Global CEO, Tsachi Maimon, said: “The strong performance is mainly driven by two factors; successful partnerships and a stronger offering.
Aspire Global’s key Q2 figures
“Firstly, we have improved our ability to focus our resources on the partners and brands with the highest potential and strongest performance.
“As for the offering, we continuously improve our solution, both in terms of quality and width of the solution, most recently through the upgrade to a more advanced platform system and the very promising launch of sportsbook as well as higher efficiency in our data-driven tools.
“As a result, several B2B-brands are outperforming, along with higher activity for B2C,” he added.
The 2018 World Cup in Russia reportedly sparked further interested in the supplier’s sportsbook offering which led to an agreement with BetRegal.
BetRegal will migrate to the Aspire Global sportsbook platform from EveryMatrix in Q418.
