Unibet makes CFO switch
Graham Stretch to stand down at the end of March, Albin de Beauregard appointed his successor
Unibet Group chief financial officer Graham Stretch will leave his position at the end of March with Albin de Beauregard appointed his successor.
Stretch’s decision to stand down comes after five-and-a-half years in the role and prompted Unibet to conduct an “extensive search process involving both external and internal candidates”.
Following the search, Unibet has promoted head of internal audit de Beauregard to fill the vacancy while Stretch will remain with the firm in an advisory capacity to ensure a smooth transition and also work on strategic projects.
“I would like to thank Graham for his contribution to the successful development of the group in the last five years and I am grateful that he will assist a smooth transition for Albin”, Henrik Tjärnström, Unibet CEO, said.
De Beauregard joined Unibet in 2011 as part of the acquisition of Eurosportbet where he was CFO. During his time at Unibet de Beauregard has been CFO France and strategic projects manager before taking on his current role.
“I am very pleased that Albin will take over as CFO as he has got in depth knowledge of the group and has proven himself and delivered excellent value in the various roles he has had within the group since joining in 2011,” Tjärnström said.
The departure of Stretch comes after he worked closely on Unibet’s recent acquisitions of UK sportsbook Stan James and the predominantly Nordic-facing multi-brand casino operator iGame.
