Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick named as latest Gamblr shareholder
Actor also becomes a brand ambassador for the VIP-focused operator, with the partnership launching on Westwick’s Instagram page this week
Ed Westwick, the actor known for his roles in Gossip Girl and White Gold, has become a shareholder in crypto-first operator Gamblr.
Westwick will also become a brand ambassador for the business, which focuses on VIP customers.
The 38-year-old will feature in various marketing initiatives for the firm, including social media campaigns and online ads.
Gamblr, which is licensed in Anjouan, said that further details regarding campaigns featuring Westwick would be released in the coming weeks.
Westwick announced the deal on his Instagram page in a video where the actor is seen walking through a casino explaining the etiquette of being a “gentleman gambler”.
Westwick rose to fame for his role as Chuck Bass in hit US TV show Gossip Girl.

Gamblr, which recently penned a sportsbook supply deal with Altenar, was established last year by Gareth and Matt Fenney.
Former Esports Entertainment Group head Jason Ryan was named as director of sportsbook late last year.
Meanwhile, ex-WPT Global exec Fred Wise arrived as director of acquisitions in January.
Westwick said: “I’m excited to be joining forces with Gamblr. They’re a cutting-edge company with a commitment to providing safe and entertaining gaming experiences with a touch of class.
“I look forward to working with them and engaging with their community.”
Fenney, Gamblr co-founder and CEO, added: “Ed personifies our brand with his elegance and charm.
“He will significantly enhance our brand awareness and help us to reach a wider audience of bettors that desire the unique style and feel of our products. We’re delighted to have him on board.”
