Slots Tracker: Play’n GO heads into December in the lead as Starburst slips to third
Long-term rivals now split by Pragmatic Play’s Big Bass Bonanza in second following shakeup to the rankings
Play’n GO’s Book of Dead retained its top spot after dethroning Starburst in October as the former rankings leader slipped to third place in November.
Book of Dead usurped its long-term rival in the shape of NetEnt’s Starburst and has now tightened its grip on the EGR Slots Tracker.
Starburst dipped from second to third in November as it was leapfrogged by Pragmatic Play’s Big Bass Bonanza.
Pragmatic Play stablemates Sweet Bonanza, Big Bass Splash and Gates of Olympus all remained unmoved to fill out the top six.
Gold Rush Express by Area Vegas Games broke into the top 10 in ninth place after finishing 13th in October.
In terms of biggest movers, Reel King Mega by Red Tiger moved from 54th in October to 17th place in November.
Playtech’s Queen Of The Pyramids Mega Cash Collect was the only brand new entry into the Slots Tracker in November, debuting in 18th position, while NetEnt’s Blood Suckers closed out the leading titles after moving up one place from 21st position to 20.
Elsewhere, analysed data revealed the top-ranking new slots released since 1 September 2023.
Playtech’s Queen Of The Pyramids Mega Cash Collect took top spot in November following its 4 November release and its debut in the top 20 slots.
Snowborn Games’ Massive Gold (17 October release) and Area Link Piggy Bank by Area Vegas Games (6 November release) took the silver and bronze medals, respectively, in the new games rankings.
Snowborn Games’ Pile ‘Em Up Frosty Sweets was the title with the latest release date (23 November) to secure a spot in the top 20 newly released games.
In January 2023, EGR added a new data partner, eGaming Monitor (EGM), to track casino sites and help collate the monthly rankings.
EGM tracks game pages of more than 2,400 casino sites globally, with the European charts being based on the number of game tiles found for each game across operator sites in regulated markets.
EGM limits its tracking to just the main casino homepage of each site, with the tracker taking in slots, instants, scratch cards, slingo and crash games but excluding table games, live games, video poker, video bingo and others.
In November, EGM tracked 13,435 games from 400 studios in 29 European regulated markets including the UK, Italy, Spain, Germany and the Netherlands.
