Frankly, I don’t blame them – no one wants to land on the wrong side of a state attorney general. One gaming lawyer noted that content suppliers have become the “weak links” or choke points for regulators, meaning if authorities can’t catch every operator, they’ll lean on big studios that have reputations to protect. From NuxGame’s perspective, it’s a humble reminder compliance is king. We’ve built our platform to be agile with content, so if a top-tier supplier exits a market, we can swiftly offer alternative game content that’s fully compliant.
EGR: Regulators across states including California, New York and New Jersey have either banned or are pushing to ban sweepstakes casinos outright. Is the tide really turning against sweepstakes gaming?
DK: The regulatory winds are indeed blowing strongly.
