Graeme Powrie joins the Gibraltar-based start-up after five years at William Hill Online

Gibraltar-based Addison Global has hired former William Hill Online gaming commercial director, Graeme Powrie, as its new VP of gaming, EGR Intel has learned.
Powrie joined the online betting and gaming start-up in December and will be responsible for the overall gaming P&L.
Previously he spent more than five years at Hills’ online business where he ran a number of gaming products, before going on to lead the commercial team.
Prior to joining William Hill, Powrie spent two years at Ladbrokes as casino manager. He also created and led the VIP function for two online brands and worked in a number of London-based casinos.
Speaking to EGR, Powrie said: “I am very excited to join Addison Global as I believe they have the vision, strategy, brand and talent to disrupt the marketplace and deliver a truly personalised customer experience.”
The start-up has hired a spate of industry veterans since its inception last year, with BetVictor’s head of payment and fraud product, Antonio Verissimo also joining the firm this month.
Addison Global’s exec team currently consists of CEO Juergen Reutter, William Hill’s former chief experience officer, as well as chief strategy officer Nyreen Llamas, previously a partner at Hassans International Law Firm, and COO Patrick Jay.
The firm also recently hired former Marathonbet CEO, Viktor Hoffmann, as its new chief marketing officer.
