Aspire Global launches tournament sports betting feature
Malta-headquartered firm targets RG and social betting with new gamified AspireBattle function

Aspire Global has debuted a new sports betting function that allows players to participate in sports betting tournaments for the first time.
AspireBattle will provide bettors with the ability to participate in tournaments covering all major sports, allowing them to create personal tournaments with friends.
In addition, AspireBattle features time out functionality among several responsible gambling tools and increased player behaviour monitoring.
The product will also include an automatic time out for any player who suffers significant point losses and dips below a specified negative points total.
AspireBattle is currently integrated on Aspire Global’s Karamba brand, but can be integrated into other sports betting sites operated by other firms via its B2B division.
Aspire Global head of sports Morten Hauge highlighted the launch of AspireBattle as an “innovative and unique feature” for the sportsbook vertical.
“The sports gamification invention was created to complement players’ ordinary sports betting and to act as the ‘perfect side dish’,” said Hauge.
“We are especially happy about the player control functionality which is reflecting our strong focus on responsible gaming,” he added.
