Aspire Global to launch Vipps Casino brand with mystery holdings company
Swedish operator agrees €1.5m investment agreement with egaming “veteran” led group
Aspire Global has confirmed a new deal which will see it partner with Vipps Holdings to launch the Vipps Casino brand.
The product is expected to go live on the Aspire platform in the second half of 2019.
Under the terms of the deal, Aspire Global will invest up to €1.5m into the marketing of the Vipps Casino brand, based on the product meeting certain milestones set out in the investment agreement.
When approached, Aspire would not confirm what these milestones were but reiterated all would have to be met in order for the €1.5m in funding to be approved.
As part of their side of the agreement, Vipps Holdings have committed to invest in the technology infrastructure and the specific marketing of unique features for the new Vipps Casino brand.
Aspire Global CEO Tsachi Maimon hailed the partnership as being an exciting one for the operator, highlighting Vipps Holdings “extensive” experience of the Nordic gambling market, gained through several egaming “veterans”.
The company would not be drawn on who these veterans are, adding that their names would be revealed upon the launch of the brand.
