Bragg Gaming lands ex-Red Tiger director as new CMO
Giles Potter and Chris Looney set to oversee US expansion roadmap following link-up with supplier
Bragg Gaming Group has appointed industry veteran Chris Looney as the group’s new chief commercial officer (CCO), as well as former Red Tiger marketing director and consultant Giles Potter as CMO.
Looney joins Bragg from Red Tiger where he served as commercial director from September 2018 until April 2021.
Prior to joining Red Tiger, Looney spent nearly nine years with Microgaming across a range of roles, culminating in a spell as sales manager from September 2015 until September 2018.
At Bragg, Looney will be responsible for executing the group’s expansion roadmap into new regulated markets, including the US. He will work closely with, and report into, Bragg CEO Richard Carter.
Looney will also oversee commercial responsibilities for Bragg-owned supplier Oryx Gaming.
Speaking on his arrival, Looney said: “Bragg presented an opportunity I couldn’t turn down. The company’s global presence and proprietary product and content portfolio in the B2B igaming space provides a solid foundation for further expansion into new markets.
“In North America in particular, jurisdictions continue to evolve, regulate and open up. Bragg is well positioned to succeed [in] these markets and I’m excited to be part of the game plan,” he added.
Carter noted: “[Chris] has an impressive track record of driving growth and success, and his extensive industry knowledge will be crucial as we continue to expand globally into key markets such as the US, the UK, Italy, Canada and anticipated new market openings such as the Netherlands.”
