Casumo hires new sportsbook and gaming execs
Former Addison Global and BetVictor sportsbook manager Jonathan West moves to Malta to join Casumo
Casumo has made two key appointments after hiring a new head of sportsbook and a new director of gaming in April.
Former Addison Global sportsbook manager Jonathan West has been appointed head of sportsbook at the Malta-based operator, which first launched sports betting in the UK in January 2020.
West also spent five years at Gibraltar-based BetVictor in a variety of trading roles before becoming B2B sportsbook manager in 2016.
West wrote on LinkedIn: “It’s been a tough few weeks for myself and former colleagues, but I’m absolutely delighted to have accepted a new role in Malta for an amazing company.
“I have had seven fantastic years in Gibraltar and worked with some amazing people, but more importantly I have made some amazing friends,” he added.
Casumo has also recruited former William Hill head of gaming Jacqui Gatt as its new director of gaming.
Gatt was previously head of live casino at LeoVegas before moving to Mr Green, which was acquired by UK bookmaker William Hill in 2018.
Gatt starts at Casumo on 15 April while West begins his new role on 20 April. Both will report into chief operating officer Pablo Grunbaum.
