DrückGlück makes Germany push with €35m marketing spend
Schleswig Holstein-licensed casino to invest €35m in offline marketing with local TV shows
German-operator DrückGlück has signed two sponsorship deals with local TV shows, Celebrity Big Brother and Global Gladiators.
As part of a major marketing push, the Schleswig Holstein licensed casino will invest €35m into offline channels, including TV ads to run on channels Sat 1 and Pro 7.
Marketing director for the brand’s parent company, SkillonNet, Michael Golembo, said: “The deals to sponsor Celebrity Big Brother and Global Gladiators will help strengthen our position as the undisputed market leader and our target to make DrückGlück a household name.
“Both shows boast millions of viewers each week. We believe there is tremendous affinity between these audiences and the player demographic that is attracted to DrückGlück.” Golembo said.
“We expect to see a significant uptick in new player sign-ups once the ads are broadcast.”
DrückGlück said it is the largest converting online casino in Germany, with 1,250+ slots.
The operator recently signed on to become the official sponsor of Bundesliga football team Holstein Kiel, with branding to feature across LED boards at the stadium and the team’s bus.
