Ex-Flutter Entertainment exec departs 4Poker after 12 months

Heath Cram has departed startup poker operator 4Poker less than a year after joining from Flutter Entertainment.
Cram originally joined the Isle of Man-based firm as chief operating officer (COO) in August 2022 before shifting to become president in April of this year.
He joined the operator from Flutter where he had served as international senior director of operations.
A poker veteran, Cram spent more than a decade with PokerStars over two terms while also taking on roles at Full Tilt and Sportradar during his career.
Speaking on his decision to depart the startup, Cram described 4Poker team as “nothing but positive”.
Cram said: “I’ve decided to call time on my position at 4Poker.
“I went into my leadership roles eyes open, and the lure to take a shot at such a fitting and attractive project with high upside was too exciting to pass up.
“A year, and a few extra grey hairs, later, and I’m taking away some great memories, working with a fun team on something we all had a shared passion in building. Also, many learnings about myself and business, in acknowledgement of the normal startup risks that were very much a part of this same opportunity.”
The poker stalwart also confirmed he was exploring new opportunities following a summer break with his family.
In March, 4Poker went live with its “rolling beta launch” following a flurry of interest from the Caribbean and Brazil.
In February, the operator added former Microgaming exec Jeff Butler as managing director of finance.
The brand was founded by professional poker player Bryn Kenney in 2019.
