FairPlay Sports Media CPO confirms exit
Quarter4 founder Kelly Brooks departs the oddschecker parent company following affiliate’s full integration of AI platform

Kelly Brooks has stepped down from her role as FairPlay Sports Media (FPSM) chief product officer (CPO) after a little over a year in the role.
Her exit comes just one month after the oddschecker parent company completed its integration of AI prediction platform Quarter4, a company founded by Brooks in July 2018 alongside Danijela Covic.
Covic had served as FPSM’s vice-president of business development in North America since the acquisition, but departed in January of this year.
FPSM acquired Quarter4 in January 2024 for an undisclosed fee before Brooks, then CEO of the AI-powered company, was named CPO four months later.
Upon her appointment in April of last year, FPSM noted that Brooks’ role would see her tasked with applying her “AI acumen and transformation experience to enhance FairPlay’s BetTech capabilities”.
Her move into the FPSM C-suite coincided with the hire of former Betfair head as company CFO as the affiliate shook up its top team.
Brooks took to LinkedIn to confirm her departure, writing: “Today marks my last day as the CPO of FairPlay Sports Media.
“For over a year, we’ve worked on integrating the Quarter4 AI technology across the business and have deployed new products that are breaking moulds in the technology space.”
Brooks thanked several members of staff, before adding: “Quarter4 was a brainchild that evolved into a business. My third startup since 2009, it was my pride and joy. Thank you to all who supported the dream-to-reality journey.”
The former FPSM CPO concluded by shedding light on her future plans: “For now, I am going to decompress and relish in the times that I have spent in the UK over the last year, as well as recount the growth and learnings that I have captured during this technology love story.
“I have not thought about my “what’s next”, other than, I will continue to work alongside technology startups that are battling the complex world of survival, especially those led by fearless female founders and passionate entrepreneurs that need a dream put into business reality.”
Prior to founding Quarter4, Brooks also established SpeakFeel Corporation in 2009, a software development firm that specialises in augmented reality (AR) and blockchain technology.
She served as president of SpeakFeel Corporation for just under 12 years, until her exit in November 2020.
Brooks has also held the title of partner at Agnition, a mobile technology firm for the agri-food industry, after eight years at RKD Web Studios, an Ontario-based tech company where she had been creative director until her departure in 2010.
Meanwhile, the integration of Quarter4 to FPSM was completed in mid-February, sparking the launch of its new brand, FairPlay AI.
Operating as the home of FPSM’s prediction and data service, the new brand will fall under the recently established FairPlay Technologies division.
FairPlay AI will oversee behavioural data, pricing and AI, having already been applied to oddschecker’s subscription service.
