Former ComeOn Group and Betsson exec nets land-based CEO role at Cherry
Hans Martin Nakkim makes return to casino industry after replacing Aron Egfors at the Swedish operator

Cherry Spelglädje AB has appointed former Betsson and ComeOn Group exec Hans Martin Nakkim as its new CEO.
Nakkim returns to the industry after a three-year hiatus, having most recently served as managing director of ComeOn Group from January 2012 until May 2018.
He also spent more than five years with Betsson from November 2005 through to August 2011, where he held a series of senior roles across marketing and business development.
Nakkim assumed his new position on 19 October and replaces outgoing CEO Aron Egfors, who has stepped down after six years in the hot seat.
Speaking on his decision to step down, Egfors said: “After more than 12 years here at Cherry and the last six years as CEO, it has been filled with both fun and challenges.
“During these magical years, colleagues have become friends, events, meetings and trips have become memories for life and I am eternally grateful to have been and continue to be part of Sweden’s best restaurant casino company and further develop Cherry as a brand.
“I know that we are looking forward with positive eyes to what we at Cherry will [do to] continue to lead and develop the casino industry,” he added.
Egfors will remain with the company in an operational role focusing on the restaurant casino business and visiting Cherry sites.
Nakkim added: “I am grateful to work with such a well-known brand and strong team. I look forward to exploring new business opportunities and investments in the gaming sector for Cherry.”
