
Fortuna appoints former Ladbrokes Coral director as COO
Nicklas Zajdel joins the CEE-focused operator following previous senior roles at Ladbrokes Coral and Intralot


Fortuna Entertainment Group (FEG) has appointed former Ladbrokes Coral omni-channel director Nicklas Zajdel as the operator’s new group chief operating officer (COO).
Zajdel, who starts his new role this month, was most recently chief digital officer at Athens-based operator Intralot which he joined earlier this year to lead its new digital division.
He was also responsible for the Greek company’s sportsbook and trading operations, its core digital platforms and online operations.

Prior to joining Intralot, Zajdel spent more than five years at Ladbrokes Coral, holding roles including director of commercial operations, managing director of digital and omni-channel director.
Zajdel, who also previously worked at Playtech and PartyGaming, joins Group CEO Per Widerstrom, CFO Jaroslava Hirschová and CMO Darren Lovern on Fortuna’s senior management team.
FEG placed 15th in last year’s EGR Power 50 rankings.
