GVC’s director of responsible gambling to speak at next EGR Breakfast Briefing
Grainne Hurst joins panel of experts set to discuss the changing face of advertising in the gaming industry on 27 June in London

GVC’s director of responsible gambling Grainne Hurst is to speak at this month’s EGR Breakfast Briefing on how industry marketing strategies are adapting to regulatory restrictions and social responsibility measures.
Hurst has taken a leading role in developing the London-listed operator’s safer gambling strategy which in April culminated in GVC calling for a total ban on all televised UK sports betting adverts.
GVC also committed to ending all its sponsorship deals with UK football clubs.

The Breakfast Briefing, which is scheduled to take place on 27 June at the ICETANK in London’s West End, will see a panel of regulatory and marketing experts discuss how the industry should respond to advertising restrictions across Europe.
Panellists will look at forward thinking strategies to circumnavigate advertising restrictions and how to be prepared and flexible for future changes.
Hurst will be joined on the panel by Harry Lang, founder of marketing agency Brand Architects, and gambling lawyer Richard Williams, with more speakers set to be announced shortly.
