Betfair inks Juventus betting partnership
Betfair has signed a new multi-year deal to become the official gaming and betting partner of Juventus.
The deal will see Betfair given branding and visibility inside the Allianz Stadium and Juventus Training Center, access to the Juventus players for marketing and communication activities and use of the official Juventus logo.
Betfair also said it will be developing promotional content and marketing activities for Juventus fans, both online and on-field, including exclusive video content and prize giveaways that will give fans the opportunity to win matchday experiences.
Claudio Di Zanni, Betfair Italy country director said: “We are very proud to announce this partnership with Juventus, which has the values and characteristics we think are important to winning in sports as well as our business, such as prestige, leadership and ambition. We believe that this partnership can create great opportunities for our customers and for all football fans.”
LeoVegas goes live with Denmark-facing sportsbook
LeoVegas has expanded its Denmark-facing product portfolio with the launch of a new sportsbook in time for the start of the country’s new football season.
The Kambi-powered LeoVegas Sport will offer approximately 100,000 betting markets on more than 40 different sports in Denmark.
The launch comes just one week before the start of the Danish Superligaen, the country’s highest football division, and follows the launch of the LeoVegas online casino last year.

Scientific Games acquires UK developer Red7
Scientific Games has announced the acquisition of Red7Mobile, a Bristol-based technology firm that develops online casino games and sports apps for the real-money gaming industry.
The deal, financial terms of which were not disclosed, will see Scientific Games absorb Red7’s products into its own library.
Red7 is best known in the UK for its partnerships with major sportsbooks, having developed Paddy Power’s Messenger betting app, William Hill’s Prem Predictor and BetVictor’s Instabet.
BoyleSports makes omni-channel push with BetTracker launch
BoyleSports has rolled out Playtech BGT Sports’ (PBS) BetTracker product as the Irish bookie looks to boost its omni-channel capabilities.
The omni-channel solution is available on iOS and Android and enables customers to transfer and cash out shop-made bets on their mobile device by scanning tickets.
John Pettit, PBS managing director for UK, Ireland, Asia and Australia, said: “BetTracker has been a fantastic addition to the retail sector since its launch, and we’re pleased that many of our existing partners are now offering it to their customers.
Worldpay agrees £9.1bn merger with US rival Vantiv
Payments processor Worldpay yesterday confirmed it had agreed a deal in principle to merge with US rival Vantiv in a deal worth up to £9.1bn.
Under the terms of the merger, credit card giant Vantiv will offer the UK’s biggest payments processor 365p per share, equivalent to approximately £7.7bn in total.
However, including debt, the deal has an enterprise value of £9.1bn and will see Worldpay shareholders own approximately 41% of the share capital of the combined group.
DraftKings continues European push with basketball sponsorship
DraftKings has been named the official fantasy partner of EuroLeague Basketball, as the operator looks to continue its expansion in Europe.
The deal will see DraftKings develop a variety of fantasy products based around the EuroLeague, for the upcoming 2017-18 season.
The EuroLeague’s existing fantasy offering has been played more than one million times since its inception in 2004 with that number expected to rise following the new partnership.
Greentube launches Romanian online casino with new licence
Novomatic subsidiary Greentube launched its first online brand in the Romanian market after picking up a licence for the country’s regulated market.
The firm is powering the new Admiral.ro site, which also features a Kambi-provided sportsbook following a deal between the two providers back in February.
Greentube reportedly chose the Admiral brand due to its popularity in nearby Austria, and strong retail presence across Europe.
Marathonbet seals Dynamo Moscow sponsorship
Marathonbet has boosted its Russian presence by signing a three year deal to become the official sponsor of Russian football club Dynamo Moscow.
The agreement will see Marathonbet branding appear on the players’ shirts, the club’s Central Dynamo Stadium, its training facilities and the club’s various digital platforms.
“Dynamo Moscow is a club with a great history – it is the first Soviet champion, the first Soviet Cup winner,” said Ekaterina Zemskova, Marathonbet spokesperson.
