LeoVegas beefs up affiliate oversight with Wag.io partnership
Partnership enables operator to monitor all affiliate activity in one place
LeoVegas has taken further steps to foolproof its affiliate network following a new partnership with Wag.io.
Wag.io lets affiliate managers monitor all affiliate activity and marketing materials in one place, theoretically helping them spot non-compliant activity.
Matthew Curmi, a sales and compliance executive for LeoVegas, said the firm chose the Wag.io app because it was simple “to constantly monitor and review the ads and marketing materials our affiliates are using.”
He added: “While our goal is to be fully compliant, when an error is found, we can use the app to rapidly reach out to our affiliates about making an immediate correction.”
LeoVegas cut its UK affiliate programme to “small number” of partners in December last year, saying it did not have sufficient oversight of its network to ensure compliance in the highly regulated UK market.
The firm also underwent a major reshuffle of senior management this week in a bid to put more focus on responsible gaming and sustainable growth.
Roo Wright, CEO and founder of Wag.io, added: “Our clients use Wag.io for compliance, as well as to find and manage new opportunities.”
