
LeoVegas to expand GoGoCasino reach after Sweden success
Malta-based operator will launch proprietary brand in further European markets next year


LeoVegas will launch proprietary brand GoGoCasino in further European markets in 2020 after a successful start to life in Sweden, EGR understands
GoGoCasino was the first brand to go live as part of the operator’s Brands of Leo strategy, where it pledged to launch localised products from its multi-brand gaming platform.
GoGoCasino launched in Sweden March 2019 when CEO Gustaf Hagman said the brand would “fill a hole in the market” and “set an entirely new standard for the industry”.
LeoVegas said this week it would start rolling the brand out in other markets after it had performed “beyond expectations” in Sweden.

Leo has also increased investment in GoGoCasino in Sweden with a new radio campaign.
“Radio has always been an important media channel for LeoVegas and seasonal timing is just perfect to start testing different campaigns,” said LeoVegas communications director Hans Uhrus.
“The reception to the brand and the retention on the customers side has been beyond any expectations.
“We attribute such success to a top-class service but also to the market conditions.
“Others continue putting their focus on what has worked before while we are trying to challenge the status quo and find new standards for the industry,” Uhrus added.
LeoVegas will launch the second proprietary brand from its Brands of Leo platform in Q1 2020.
