HR expert Judith Turner joins affiliate on short-term basis following spells with Rank Group and WynnBET

Oddschecker has appointed gambling industry HR expert Judith Turner as its interim chief people officer.
Turner joins the firm on a short-term contract at the company’s headquarters in Hammersmith, as she brings a wealth of industry experience to the role.
She joins Oddschecker from social betting company Betbull, where she served as global people director from May 2021 until March 2022.
Concurrently, Turner served as WynnBET global people director, combining her duties at BetBull.
Turner’s first taste of the gaming industry was as head of HR operations at bwin from July 2011 until January 2017.
During her time there, she oversaw the transitional period for employees following Entain’s (then GVC) acquisition of bwin in 2016, as well as managing a global workforce across multiple brands.
Turner then joined Rank Group in September 2017, initially in an interim role, before becoming HR director for digital in April 2019 until December 2020.
She then held a five-month interim position as director of international HR transformation for the Grosvenor Casino parent company until April 2021.
In her role as interim chief people officer, Turner will be responsible for managing the whole HR division at the affiliate.
Turner, who is a chartered fellow of the CIPD, said: “I’m delighted to share my new role as interim chief people officer at Oddschecker Global Media. Let the journey begin.”
