Poker Channel signs Neufbox TV French distribution deal
The Poker Channel, Europe's largest gaming TV network, has announced a distribution deal in France with Neufbox TV, a TV service from SFR, the second largest telecoms company in Europe.
THE POKER CHANNEL, Europe’s largest gaming TV network, has announced a distribution deal in France with Neufbox TV, a TV service from SFR, the second largest telecoms company in Europe.
The deal means that The Poker Channel will be available 24 hours a day to all SFR’s TV subscribers from this month.
The Poker Channel was launched in 2005, and features poker events such as the World Series of Poker (WSOP), World Poker Tour CHECK (WPT) and European Poker Tour (EPT), as well as poker tuition shows and player interviews. It is broadcast over cable, satellite and online.
The Poker Channel is already available on TV in France to customers of the Free and Numericable services, and As reported on EGRmagazine.com, in June agreed new distribution agreements in Germany, Portugal, Poland, Cyprus and Croatia.
Following the new agreement with SFR, the Poker Channel is now available to more than 18 million households.
