Stoiximan unveils new HQ as OPAP takes full control of the operator
Operator cuts the ribbon on hub which will house around 250 staff from multiple departments as firm enters a new era following total sale to fellow Greek business
Stoiximan has moved into a new headquarters in the Greek capital of Athens after OPAP took full ownership of the operator.
The Greece- and Cyprus-facing brand is now 100% owned by Allwyn subsidiary OPAP, since it snapped up the remaining 15.51% of the business it did not already own for €191.6m (£166.2m).
The move to the new office also comes after Stoiximan CEO George Daskalakis stepped down and was replaced by managing director Nikos Fligos.
The new Athens hub will be home to around 250 Stoiximan staff from eight newly formed or significantly expanded departments.
Over the past eight months, the operator has increased its headcount by 50% in Athens and Thessaloniki, with almost 100 staff joining the team.
Described by the company as a “major organisational transformation”, new employees have been onboarded into marketing and communications, customer experience and operations, HR, finance and compliance.

The 25,000 sq ft headquarters is spread over three floors and is located in the Halandri district of the capital.
The space includes “state-of-the-art collaborative areas”, training hubs, wellness zones and meeting rooms.
Stoiximan operations had previously run out of the Kaizen Campus – the 7,500 sq m headquarters of Kaizen Gaming.
Kaizen Gaming, which operates the Betano brand and was established by Daskalakis, had been running the Stoiximan brand on a B2B basis.
Kaizen Gaming will continue to provide the tech for Stoiximan following the office move.
Speaking to EGR, a Stoiximan spokesperson noted: “Our new home is more than just an office, it represents our vision for a workspace that inspires, connects and develops our people.
“These facilities are designed to reflect Stoiximan’s commitment to creating an environment that enhances teamwork, creativity and employee wellbeing.”
