TalentBet promotes director of talent to CEO
TalentBet has named Sennette Lam as its new CEO as it looks to expand globally.
Lam is a co-founder of the Maltese talent acquisition and recruitment provider and has held the position of director of talent since the company’s launch in February 2023.
She said: “We’ve done things differently at TalentBet, putting the client first at all times, offering a more tailored and personal approach and now we look to deliver that internationally as well.”
David Hodkinson, a lead investor in the firm, added: “Sennette has proven to be an instrumental part of what is an incredible growth story during 2023 for TalentBet. When the opportunity arose for Sennette to step into the CEO role, there was no doubt that she was the right person.”
PA Betting Services to provide CopyBet with horseracing content
PA Betting Services (PABS) has struck a deal with CopyBet to provide the sportsbook with horseracing content.
As part of the deal, players of the UK sportsbook, which launched in the second half of 2021, will be able to access race-day fixed odds and results for the first time.
Richard Duncan, head of new business at PABS, said: “With our own roots firmly planted in tipping and sports copywriting, it was refreshing to work with an operator that has such a unique way of boosting and rewarding both tipsters and ‘copiers’.”
Anton Ivanov, CopyBet director of business development, added: “According to Gambling Commission figures, thoroughbred racing accounts for about one-third of all online sports wagering in the UK, so it was an obvious move for us to begin offering the sport to our player base.”
Delasport pens deal with Bejoynd
Delasport has agreed a partnership with Swedish B2B platform provider Bejoynd to reach local operators in the region.
Delasport’s Plug & Play sportsbook solution will be available to the Swedish supplier’s existing and new customers.
Rosaire Galea, Delasport VP of business development, said: “Partnering with amazing professionals like Bejoynd is a great next step for us and a way to state our serious intentions for the Nordic market.”

Dizplai to provide real-time score updates for William Hill TV
William Hill has enhanced its TV output in its retail venues and online Betting TV service via a new partnership with platform provider Dizplai.
The Dizplai service will see the operator’s TV platform be upgraded with real-time scores, updates and betting odds.
Mark Chesworth, William Hill head of broadcast, said: “The ability to engage with our customers directly with live broadcast is critical to bringing them closer to the sports they love and enriching their experience across our physical and online outlets.”
Ed Abis, Dizplai managing director, added: “We have greatly enjoyed the creative collaboration with the William Hill team in getting the service up and running and look forward to innovating further in the months ahead.”
Openbet agrees deal to power Veikkaus’ sportsbook
OpenBet has agreed a four-year-long deal with Veikkaus ahead of Finland’s move away from a monopoly market structure.
Content and service provider Openbet will power the operator’s sportsbook platform as Veikkaus prepares for a multi-licence system.
