GTECH G2 has renewed its contract with VirginPoker to supply the online poker site with its games software and player management system.
VirginPoker.com, part of the Virgin Group, has been a member of the International Poker Network (IPN) 2005.
The IPN is operated by GTech G2 and managed by GTech G2 St Minver, one of the four egaming companies acquired by lottery industry giant GTech to form its interactive gaming division. These are poker, casino and bingo software provider Boss Media; sportsbook technology business Finsoft; games provider to media brands St Minver; and Dynamite Idea, which makes instant and side games.
GTech G2 chief executive Atul Bali said: “Having a blue-chip client like Virgin renew their commitment with us is an endorsement of the investment we have made in our product and, together with our partners, our success in building further liquidity on the IPN.”
In other recent Virgin news, CryptoLogic launched the first of its online casino products on the Virgin Games website late last month.
