Rush Street Interactive promotes CFO to president
Kyle Sauers will continue to lead operator’s financial strategy, with new role bringing more responsibility in day-to-day operations
Rush Street Interactive (RSI) has promoted its chief financial officer (CFO) Kyle Sauers to the position of company president.
Sauers joined RSI in 2020 from Echo Global Logistics, having spent nearly 10 years with the transportation and logistics firm from January 2011 to October 2020.
He held two roles while there – SVP of finance and then CFO.
Sauers was also CFO at Bio-Imaging Research from December 2005 to May 2007 and likewise Sphere Communications from September 1997 to October 2005.
Between his jobs with Echo Global Logistics and Bio-Imaging Research, he spent four years with Varian Medical Systems as general manager.
As well as becoming president, Sauers will remain in his role as CFO with RSI, continuing to lead the operator’s financial strategy while also taking on additional responsibilities for day-to-day operations and as well as cross-functional performance.
On the appointment, RSI CEO Richard Schwartz said: “Kyle’s promotion reflects RSI’s continued growth and the natural evolution of his leadership.
“His strategic insight, operational discipline, and collaborative style have been central to RSI’s success.
“This new structure allows us to build on our momentum, enabling me to focus more deeply on innovation, online casino legalization and regulatory advocacy, as well as strategic opportunities, while Kyle continues to maximize the potential of our existing markets through strong execution and operational alignment.
“Together, our complementary strengths will help us deliver long-term, sustainable growth.”
Sauers added: “I’m honored to take on this expanded role and continue working alongside our exceptional teams to advance RSI’s mission.
“We have an extraordinary culture grounded in innovation, integrity, and accountability. Together, we’ll continue strengthening our operations, maximizing performance in current markets, and positioning RSI for the next phase of growth.”
In July, RSI reported Q2 revenue of $292.2m.
