Pythia Sports joins NYCE marketplace
Pythia Sports has launched on the NYCE marketplace to offer its horse and greyhound racing tech to operators.
The NYCE marketplace serves as a vessel to connect operators and suppliers, with Pythia’s managed racing product now available.
Stephen Davison, Pythia Sports head of commercial operations, said: “Every operator comes to racing from a different place. Some have their own front end and want an API, while others want a racebook that’s ready to go.
“Either way, they get one arrangement for the data, pricing, streaming and rights, and a trading team that knows racing. NYCE gives us a direct line to the operators weighing up those choices. We are looking forward to starting our partnership.”
Alex Crockford, NYCE International chief commercial officer, added: “When operators ask us about racing, the first questions are usually about trading. Who prices it, who manages the risk and how it plugs into their sportsbook.
“Pythia answers all three with a managed product and a team behind it, which makes it an easy conversation to have.”
