Sportradar’s UEFA deal extended

Sportradar has confirmed that its exclusive betting data rights agreement with UEFA, European football’s governing body, has been extended.

The existing deal has been expanded to include the non-exclusive right to distribute data to non-betting media, while the supplier will gain access to advanced tracking.

Sportradar’s partnership extends as far as the qualifying fixtures for Euro 2028, to be hosted by the UK and Ireland, and covers all of UEFA’s competitions until then, such as the Champions League and Europa League.

Carsten Koerl, Sportradar CEO, said: “This agreement supports our strategic focus on selectively investing in long-term rights across key global sports, enabling ongoing innovation and enhancement of our offerings.” 

Guy-Laurent Epstein, UEFA marketing director, added: “Three years ago, we embarked on a journey with Sportradar to tap into the value of match data for betting purposes. Sportradar brings to the table a wealth of experience in this field and we are delighted to be continuing this successful partnership for the next three years.”

QTech lands double deal with Playtech

QTech Games has landed partnerships with both Playtech Casino and Playtech Live.

Content from both divisions of Playtech will go live on the QTech Games aggregator platform as a result of the deal.

QTech said: “Through this leading platform, which has sealed its definitive status as a global gaming one-stop shop, clients enjoy the best performance and customer support available, localised to every region across both developing and more mature markets.”

GR8 Tech names two new deputy CEOs

GR8 Tech has appointed Artur Ashyrov and Oleksandr Feshchenko as the supplier’s new deputy CEOs.

The pair already occupy C-suite roles, with Ashyrov currently CTO and Feshchenko being chief revenue officer. 

Speaking on his appointment, Ashyrov said: “Combining my CTO experience with a deputy CEO perspective is an exciting and extremely interesting challenge. I’m eager to enhance our internal processes and deliver noticeable improvements in our SLAs, platform’s stability and performance, and so on.”

RG24seven launches new safer gambling training

RG24seven Virtual and Better Change have collaborated with industry experts to launch new safer gambling training for UK employees.

The partnership between has been formed with the idea of bringing a new approach to safer gambling training for everyone who works within Britain’s gambling industry.

Booming Games enters South Africa

Booming Games has expanded its presence by entering the South African market.

The slot provider, which has already successfully completed localisation testing and certification, will now distribute its vast array of titles via an aggregator partnership with Intelligent Gaming.

Solomon Godwin, head of Africa at Booming Games, said: “South Africa is key to our development goals, so it’s exciting to get on board with a partner such as Intelligent Gaming.”

SOFTSWISS anti-fraud team reports strong H1 

SOFTSWISS has confirmed its anti-fraud team helped clients secure nearly €6m in H1 2024.

Within that period, SOFTSWISS oversaw a one-third reduction in the amount at risk compared to last year’s figures, while the anti-fraud team handled roughly 54,000 tasks, which included operator and verification requests.

Ilya Nesterov, SOFTSWISS’ anti-fraud team lead, said: “The most common types of fraud our team deals with are bonus abuse, identity theft and documents forgery, which account for almost 90% of all fraud cases. 

“We are pleased to see the number of operators’ requests and fraud notifications slightly decreased this year. This trend also testifies to a more responsible attitude on the part of players.”
