Slots Tracker: IGT and Pragmatic Play remain the studios to topple in North America
Cash Eruption holds firm in the US and Buffalo King Megaways continues dominant showing in Canada, although significant changes in April were found
IGT’s Cash Eruption maintained its stranglehold on the EGR US Slots Tracker, while Pragmatic Play’s Buffalo King Megaways also retained its top slot status in Canada.
In the US, there was no change on the podium as Cash Eruption kept distance between White Hat Gaming’s Almighty Buffalo Megaways and Konami’s All Aboard Dynamite Dash.
Konami’s All Aboard Go West crashed into the top 10, rising 13 places to finish in seventh, while AGS’ Diamond Reels soared 21 spots to come 10th.
However, the biggest mover in April was Red Tiger’s Gladiator Ways. The slot leapt a whopping 131 places to come in 16th.
The second-biggest mover was ReelPlay’s Primate King Megaways, up 19 places to come in 19th.
The highest-ranking game from March to fall out of the top 20 was Light & Wonder’s Rich Little Piggies World Class, which previously came in fourth.
Red Tiger’s Fa Fa Babies 2 continued to slide, dropping out of the table altogether, having slumped from third to ninth in March.
EGR North America’s data partner eGaming Monitor (EGM) examined games across seven states: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Delaware, West Virginia, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.
A total of 4,563 games from 189 studios placed across 63 sites were scrutinized in this month’s rankings.
Canada
North of the border, Pragmatic Play’s Buffalo King Megaways remained in top spot, with stablemate Gates of Olympus also unmoved in second.
The studio’s dominance of the rankings was evident again in April, as Big Bass Splash jumped from fourth to third and Sugar Rush 1,000 rose four spots to fourth.
The provider’s Gates of Olympus rose five spots to come in at fifth, while Sweet Bonanza, Sweet Bonanza 1,000, and Big Bass Bonanza were all in the top 10.
Games Global was the only other supplier to get into the top half of the rankings, with Gold Blitz Ultimate securing sixth place after coming 17th in March. Amazing Links Zeus dropped from sixth to seventh.
There were six new entrants to the Canadian rankings last month, with all the games coming from Pragmatic Play and Games Global.
The highest-ranking debutant was Pragmatic Play’s Blitz Super Wheel in 11th place.
Pragmatic Play’s 5 Lions Megaways 2 was the highest-ranking game from March (seventh) to fall out of the top 20 in April.
EGM looked at performances across five Canadian provinces: Ontario, Western Canada, Quebec, New Brunswick, and British Columbia.
A total of 5,102 titles were examined from 215 studios across 58 sites last month.
