Slots Tracker: New entry nabs US top spot ending IGT’s dominance
Light & Wonder leads the way in the US, while Pragmatic Play continues its dominance across Canada in February
IGT’s Cash Eruption was replaced by Light & Wonder’s Huff N’ Puff High Rise at the top of the US Slots Tracker in February.
Light & Wonder’s title is a new entry, with Cash Eruption falling to second place and Shuffle Master’s 88 Fortunes jumping nine spots into third.
IGT’s Triple Cash Eruption leapt four places to come in fourth, while Light & Wonder’s other Huff N’ Puff titles experienced declines.
The biggest drop of the month saw Red Tiger’s Biggest Vault fall nine spots to 15th.
February had two other new entries in Red Tiger’s Love Strikes Again and Big Time Gaming’s White Rabbit 2 slotting in at 17th and 18th, respectively.
Four titles lost their place in the top 20 last month, with IGT’s Cash Eruption Big Bank Breakout being the highest at 11th in January.
EGR North America’s data partner, eGaming Monitor (EGM), examined games across seven states: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Delaware, West Virginia, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.
A total of 2,954 games from 179 studios across 67 sites were scrutinized for the February list.
Canada
Pragmatic Play completed a podium clean sweep in Canada last month as Big Bass Splash and Buffalo King Megaways remained in first and second places, respectively.
Big Bass Bonanza jumped two spots to third to complete a stellar month for the studio.
In total, the supplier held 15 of the 20 spots, up three from the previous month.
Additionally, three of the four new entries came from Pragmatic Play: Zeus vs Hades Gods of War 250 in 11th, Fire Stampede Ultimate in 16th, and 3 Magic Eggs in 17th.
Games Global’s Phoenix Reign was the other new entry at 20th.
IGT’s Cash Eruption saw the biggest fall of month, down 13 spots to 19th, while Pragmatic Play’s Sugar Rush Super Scatter had the biggest rise by jumping eight spots into seventh.
Five titles lost their ranking in February with NetEnt’s Starburst the highest-ranking from January in 10th place to lose a spot.
EGM looked at performances across five Canadian provinces: Ontario, Western Canada, Quebec, New Brunswick, and British Columbia.
A total of 11,842 titles were examined from 333 studios across 67 sites.
