DraftKings rolls out horse racing product in six additional states
DraftKings Racing goes live in jurisdictions including Florida, Ohio, and New Hampshire ahead of the Kentucky Derby next month
DraftKings has rolled out its horse racing product, DraftKings Racing, in six states ahead of next month’s Kentucky Derby.
Already available in Delaware, New Mexico, and Rhode Island, the feature is now live in Florida, Louisiana, Montana, New Hampshire, Ohio, and Oregon.
Further jurisdiction launches are planned throughout 2026, as its DK Horse app continues to be phased out and replaced with DraftKings Racing.
The DraftKings racing product will feature a unified account and shared wallet, integrated promotional tools, and an “elevated user experience.” It will be integrated into the operator’s ‘Super App,’ DraftKings Sports & Casino.
The new ‘Super App’ strategy was announced at the start of March, housing its casino, fantasy, lottery, and prediction markets offerings in one place.
Johnny Avello, DraftKings director of race and sports operations, said: “DraftKings is committed to delivering the best fan experience across sports, and we’re proud to continue elevating that experience for horse racing with DraftKings Racing.
“DraftKings Racing is designed for speed and simplicity, offering a seamless and powerful way to engage with the sport’s biggest moments.
“By integrating horse racing directly into the DraftKings Sportsbook app, customers can wager across sports in one place with a shared wallet – creating a more connected and streamlined experience.”
Alongside the state launches, DraftKings is running a “King of the Track” promotion that will see customers able to place a bet on a winning horse at the Kentucky Derby, with winners receiving a share of the $1m cash prize pool.
DraftKings’ DK Horse app was operating as a white-label affiliate of TwinSpires, the Churchill Downs Incorporated brand, and was available in 23 US states including Indiana, New York, Wyoming, and Virginia.
Last month, the operator launched DK Replay in Oregon, a sports betting product based on historical Major League Baseball games and results.
