Bet365 marks sixth state rollout with Kentucky debut
Operator launches pre-registration in Bluegrass State in partnership with Sandy’s Gaming & Racing ahead of September go-live date

Bet365 has launched its pre-registration in Kentucky, with online sports betting set to be operational in the state by September 28.
The launch comes following the operator’s market-access agreement with race track and casino operator Sandy’s Gaming & Racing.
The Bluegrass State becomes the sixth state that bet365 has moved into following expansion into Colorado, Iowa, New Jersey, Ohio, and Virginia.
The UK-headquartered operator joins DraftKings in allowing anyone over the age of 18 to sign up for its online offering, as other operators such as Caesars and FanDuel are planning to restrict online operations to those over 21.
As part of its pre-registration offer, bet365 is offering users a $10 credit per touchdown during the Week 4 Thursday Night Football match between Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers on September 29.
Those who pre-register with bet365 will be able to deposit money into their accounts from 6am on September 28.
A bet365 spokesperson said: “We are thrilled to welcome the great state of Kentucky to bet365.
“With renowned products like amazing bet boosts, the fastest in-game product, and unique same game parlays, we can’t wait to bring the bet365 experience to eligible customers in the Bluegrass State.”
Bet365 is one of nine operators granted temporary sports betting licenses in Kentucky by the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission.
Other operators to receive online licenses include Fanatics, BetMGM, FanDuel, and DraftKings.
