Fanatics launches in Pennsylvania as PointsBet customers migrated
The Keystone State become 11th online sports betting market for challenger brand as casino lands in second state in the US

Fanatics Betting and Gaming (FBG) has launched its Fanatics Sportsbook and Casino in Pennsylvania as the brand continues to roll out across the US.
Fanatics Sportsbook and Casino will initially soft launch for two days under the supervision of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board as part of the debut.
The launch of the brand in the Keystone State will also mark the end of the PointsBet brand in the market following the planned migration of customers to the Fanatics Sportsbook app.
As part of the migration, each PointsBet customer’s username, password, account balance, rewards points, and responsible gambling settings will be automatically shifted to the Fanatics Sportsbook.
Following FBG’s $225m acquisition of PointsBet’s US assets last year, the operator was rebranded as ‘PointsBet, a Fanatics experience’ in certain states.
FBG plans to ultimately end the dual-brand strategy and, as in Pennsylvania, migrate all PointsBet users over to the Fanatics Sportsbook.
The launch in Pennsylvania marks the 11th online sports betting state for Fanatics Sportsbook and the second for Fanatics Casino.
Fanatics Sportsbook in Pennsylvania will also include the group’s much-lauded FanCash rewards program, personalisation, live streaming, and search functionality.
FBG CEO Matt King recently spoke to EGR to lift the lid on the group’s strategy and how it is gearing up for a 10-year plan to become one of the biggest operators in the US.
