Genius Sports expands content partnership with bet365
B2B technology firm to provide global betting operator with data and streaming solutions for NFL and EPL

Genius Sports and bet365 have expanded their long-term partnership with a focus on two of the biggest global sports leagues, the NFL and English Premier League (EPL). As part of the expanded relationship, Genius will provide its full suite of data and streaming solutions to the online sports betting operator.
Genius, which counted bet365 among the original recipients of its live streaming services, will now furnish the global operator with an updated portfolio of premium video content.
That includes low latency broadcasts of the NFL and multiple top-tier soccer competitions, which bet365 customers outside of the US will be able to view in-app to enhance their betting experience.
In addition to the streaming content, Genius will continue to provide bet365 with official data to thousands of sporting events per year, headlined by the NFL’s real-time statistics through its proprietary Next Gen Stats (NGS), as well as the Premier League.
Genius will also power data-driven marketing campaigns for bet365 across display, video and connected TV in an effort to lower acquisition costs in the hyper-competitive online sports betting space.
The overarching goal of the partnership is to help enhance bet placement and customer retention for bet365 while creating a more immersive user experience.
“The expansion of our partnership with bet365 further validates Genius Sports’ long-standing strategy to power live betting experiences backed by the highest quality official data and video content,” said Genius Sports CEO Mark Locke.
“This agreement is particularly significant for our live streaming service which combines premium content from competitions with thousands of other low latency broadcasts from sports right around the world.”
As online sports betting continues to gain prevalence, particularly in the US, official data and streaming rights represent critical tools for operators looking to build market share.
Genius partners with many of the world’s largest leagues and federations, including the NFL, EPL, FIBA, NASCAR and the NCAA. Sportradar, the other global data giant, has deals with the NBA, UEFA, NHL and MLB.
