IBIA links up with IXUP to further promote US sports betting integrity
The pair will work together to promote services to operators as well as sports governing bodies and teams
The International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) has announced a new partnership with data security and analysis company IXUP to provide sports betting integrity services to operators, regulators, and sports governing bodies in the US.
As part of this partnership, the IBIA will promote the data security firm’s PlayPause encryption matching network to its US member operators. The PlayPause network is an athlete identification and involuntary exclusion programme for professional sports leagues.
In return for this promotion, IXUP will push the IBIA’s monitoring solution, which currently has relationships with US sports betting operators, regulators, sports leagues, and teams.
Also, via this new deal, the pair will look at ways of delivering complementary services to other companies that function in the sports betting sector.
On the new partnership, Khalid Ali, IBIA CEO, commented: “This partnership allows each party to potentially incorporate the other’s relationships, technology, and best practices, be it across the identification of suspicious betting activity or the encrypted matching and identification of excluded individuals betting in breach of sporting rules.
