Kambi agrees Prairie Band Casino sportsbook supply partnership
Technology to support first tribal sportsbook launch in Kansas after pair agree multi-year deal
Kambi has agreed a multi-year sportsbook technology supply deal with the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation to open the first tribal sportsbook in the state of Kansas.
The deal will see the pair collaborate on a retail sportsbook to be added to the 35,000 sq ft Prairie Band Casino & Resort located close to Topeka, Kansas.
The retail sportsbook will feature 10 kiosks and four bar top terminals featuring sports betting products including the Kambi bet builder product.
Prairie Band Casino & Resort received approval earlier this year for an on-site sportsbook at the casino on tribal land.
“We’re very proud to partner with Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation’s Casino & Resort as we continue to support tribes in their sports betting endeavours,” Kambi CEO and co-founder Kristian Nylén said.
“Their successful and long-standing reputation in Kansas, combined with our award-winning sports betting technology, will create a one-of-a-kind experience for their current customers while also attracting a whole new demographic,” he added.
This September marked the first anniversary of the launch of regulated sports betting in the Sunflower State following the legalization of the vertical in May 2022.
