New Jersey online market slips back for first time in 2016
 Figures also show PokerStars losing market share to PartyPoker and WSOP/888
New Jersey online gaming win fell sequentially for the first time in 2016, as operators in the state earned 3% less compared to April.
According to the latest figures from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE), total revenues totalled $16.5m with poker revenues of $2.57m and casino of $14m.
The state had set records for online gaming win in the first four months of the year.
However, on a year-on-year basis, internet gaming win was still up 32.6% compared to May 2015. For the year-to-date, New Jerseyâs online revenue is up 30% to $78.4m.
The Borgata remained the biggest online operator in the state in May with its PartyPoker/Pala Entertainment platform, accounting for 23.8%Â of the market.
The companyâs $3.9m online gaming revenue, was followed by Caesars Interactive and the Golden Nugget with $3.2m apiece, then Tropicana with $3.1m and Resorts Digital at $3m.
PokerStars and its land-based Resorts partner retained the largest share of the poker market at 44.8%, although its revenues actually fell by $30,000 compared to April.
Party and Borgataâs market share increased slightly to 28.5%, while Caesarâs WSOP/888 also grew to 26.7%.
Elsewhere, Delaware also reported gaming numbers for May, with the stateâs online casinos posting record revenue for the third straight month.
The First Stateâs three online gaming operatorsâDelaware Park, Dover Downs and Harrington Racewayâwon a combined $282,000 from players during the month, up from $268,000 in April.
Slots were once again the biggest earner at $188,000, while table games provided $54,000 and poker $40,000. The poker revenue marks the stateâs best performance since April 2015.
