Odds On Compliance debuts Playbook platform for gaming stakeholders
Proprietary technology platform a one-stop shop for state-by-state regulatory information
Odds On Compliance, a gambling regulatory consultancy firm that specializes in the US market, has launched a new technology platform, Playbook, aimed at providing gaming stakeholders with a comprehensive overview of regulatory information and requirements on a state-by-state basis.
The goal is for Playbook to become a one-stop shop for up-to-date information from all state regulatory agency repositories, providing users with one-click access to state document libraries that are curated, managed and automatically updated in real time.
“Playbook is a game changer,” said Odds On Compliance CEO Eric Frank. “It fuses cutting-edge technology with continuously updated information about the ever-evolving regulatory and compliance landscape in the gaming space.”
Playbook will feature three tiers of offerings. The basic level is free to any user who registers for an account, while Playbook+ provides a suite of special features, including state-specific homepages, a cross-jurisdictional comparison tool and built-in statute and regulation definitions.
The premium tier, PlaybookAI, adds an extra layer of cross-state search functionality that leverages a proprietary natural language and text classification artificial intelligence model engineered by Odds On Compliance.
“We believe that Playbook will be the industry’s go-to resource for effectively and more efficiently navigating these complex regulatory frameworks in the US, and eventually abroad,” said Frank.
“As experts in the gaming field who work in and rely on these documents day in and day out, the Odds On team knows firsthand how crucial it is for businesses entering or operating in this space to have quick, easy access to the most accurate and up-to-date information,” he added.
Compliance represents a critical component for any online game brand, particularly those that are operational in multiple states.
In order to showcase the potential benefits of Playbook, Odds On Compliance is offering special access to Playbook+ throughout April to operators or other relevant stakeholders looking to test the service.
“We’ve built Playbook to not only solve the industry’s problems of today, but also to anticipate solving the problems of tomorrow,” said Odds On Compliance CTO and co-founder Mark Scrivo. “We’re excited to roll out additional features and jurisdictions over the next few months and look forward to the industry digging into Playbook.”
Odds On Compliance, which rebranded from EDF Compliance in September 2021, services all aspects of the US online game space.
