Slots Tracker: IGT and Pragmatic Play continue US and Canadian dominance
Cash Eruption and Buffalo King Megaways remain the titles to topple in June, as Games Global breaks up Pragmatic Play’s top 10 stranglehold in Canada
June saw IGT and Pragmatic Play remain entrenched atop of the US and Canadian slot rankings, amid a flurry of new entrants.
Not since December 2024 has a studio, in the shape of White Hat Gaming, been able to disrupt the pair’s dominance in either market.
In the US, IGT’s Cash Eruption and White Hat Gaming’s Almighty Buffalo Megaways held on first and second place, respectively.
Light & Wonder’s Huff N’ More Puff was a new entrant in June, soaring into third place.
Last month’s third-ranked title, All Aboard Dynamite Dash from Konami, fell one spot to fourth.
The biggest mover in the top 10 was White Hat Gaming’s Almighty Sevens Jackpot Royale, which climbed six spots to fifth.
Meanwhile, three titles entered the top 20, having been ranked outside the table in May.
Red Tiger’s Trophy Fish jumped from 74th to 12th place, AGS’ Mega Diamond leapt 13 spots to 15th, and Lightning Box’s Thundering Eclipse saw the biggest rise of the month from 114th to 16th.
There were two new entries in the top 20 outside of Huff N’ More Puff – Big Time Gaming’s Big Bucks Deluxe in 14th and Games Global’s Hyper Strike Diamond Drums making its debut in 17th.
The biggest faller in June was Konami’s All Aboard Go West, which dropped from seventh place to 19th.
Six games fell out of the top 20 entirely, including NetEnt’s Divine Fortune Black, which had been ranked fifth in May.
EGR North America’s data partner, eGaming Monitor (EGM), examined games across seven states: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Delaware, West Virginia, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.
A total of 4,614 games from 197 studios across 66 sites were scrutinized in June.
Canada
Pragmatic Play’s Buffalo King Megaways retained its leading position in Canada in June, with fellow Pragmatic Play slots accounting for nine of the top 10.
Gates of Olympus 1,000 rose from third to second, while Big Bass Splash jumped from fifth place to third.
Games Global’s 12 Masks of Fire Drums leapt from 43rd to seventh, making it the only non-Pragmatic Play title to sit in the top 10.
Pragmatic Play’s Gates of Hades was the biggest riser of the month, leaping 367 spots to land at 17th.
June’s rankings welcomed three new entries to the top 20: Light & Wonder’s Huff N’ More Puff (11th) and Games Global duo Betbarian Bounty Lock N’ Win Top Grader (14th), and Squealin’ Riches 2 (16th).
Pragmatic Play’s Gates of Olympus Super Scatter suffered the biggest fall in the top 20 for the month, slipping from second place to seventh.
EGM looked at games across six Canadian provinces: Ontario, Western Canada, Quebec, New Brunswick, British Columbia, and the Northwest Territories.
A total of 6,084 titles were examined from 238 studios across 66 sites for the month of June.
