Sportradar unveils new partnership with NBC Sports Regional Networks
Data supplier inks US-facing partnership to help NBC tap into younger audiences on digital platforms

Sportradar and NBC Sports Regional Networks have signed a new data and content partnership.
As part of the arrangement, Sportradar will provide NBC Sports Regional Networks with several of its broadcast services, in what will be an upgrade to the broadcaster’s live-game coverage.
It’s an agreement that deepens the relationship between both parties, as they already have an existing betting data and content partnership, which recently produced an alternative betting program of a Chicago Bulls game that took place on April 22.
The plan is to upgrade fan engagement, and in particular how it can tune into younger audiences and the next generation of fans via digital platforms.
Sportradar’s services include the Radar360 Research Platform, which features vast amounts of historical data across multiple sports.
There is also a graphics library that allows fans to participate in a sports event through visual communication.
NBC Sports Regional Networks will also benefit from specialized league data services, which is part of Sportradar’s skill set.
For example MLB Statcast, which is powered by Google Cloud, delivers in-depth storylines throughout the course of a game.
Also, NBC Sports Regional Networks will have access to Sportradar’s live data interface, where on-screen data and graphics can be transported to its customer base.
Brian Josephs, VP of digital sport for Sportradar, said: “NBC Sports Regional Networks are iconic and have shaped the way that fans watch their favorite teams and athletes.”
“Our technology platform and 360-degree approach enable them to tap into a number of our capabilities, and will give them the flexibility they need to create tailored experiences that meet the changing demands and expectations of their audiences.”
