Bet365’s mobile sportsbook debuts in ninth US state with Arizona launch
Global online heavyweight arrives in Grand Canyon State just in time for Super Bowl via partnership with Native American tribe

Bet365 continues to ramp up its US presence after rolling out its online sports betting product in Arizona yesterday, February 5.
The launch comes just a week after the online giant made its debut in Indiana and takes bet365’s state count to nine.
Market access to Arizona was secured via a partnership with the Ak-Chin Indian Community, and the launch comes in the week leading up to Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas, Nevada, the biggest sporting event of the year.
A spokesperson for bet365 said: “Like bet365, the Arizona sporting scene is ‘never ordinary’.
“Just in time for the big game, new and eligible sports fans in the Grand Canyon State can enjoy the bet365 experience featuring market-leading offerings like amazing bet boosts, the fastest in-game product, and same game parlays.”
As part of the agreement, the Stoke-on-Trent-based bookmaker will be making a $1m charitable donation to the Ak-Chin Indian Community to support local initiatives “designed to make a positive impact in the lives of tribal members.”
With a favorable regulatory framework, including a tax rate of 10% on digital operators’ revenue, Arizona has become a magnet for online sportsbooks since the market went live in September 2021.
Bet365 is the 16th online product to launch in Arizona, a competitive state that includes all the main players such as FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, and ESPN Bet, after PENN Entertainment debuted the brand in November.
In a bid to stand out from the competition in the Grand Canyon State, bet365 is offering two signup offers. The first is to bet up to $2,000 and, if the bet loses, customers will be refunded in bonus bets.
The alternative offer is for players to wager $5 and receive $150 in bonus bets.
The Arizona Department of Gaming said handle for November 2023 (including retail sports betting) amounted to $713.6m, which was a record high for the state, and the first month handle surpassed the $700m mark since the market’s launch.
FanDuel headed the field, generating $249.3m in online handle, closely followed by DraftKings with $229.5m.
