AUTHORIZED OPERATORS
Type A: Online operators. A maximum of 25 Type A licenses are to be issued unless a party can demonstrate that the market needs additional operators and that casinos, racetracks, sports teams/events have preference.
Type B (retail): Casinos, racetracks, sports teams/events, and other venues conducting significant economic activity. A maximum of 40 licenses are to be issued.
Type C (kiosks/clerk-operated terminals): Lottery sports gaming provider that places terminals at bars, restaurants, and nightclubs possessing a liquor license.

BETTING ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
Customers of online sportsbooks are not required to register or fund their accounts in person.
TAX RATE
20%
TAX REVENUE ALLOCATION
First applied to operator sports wagering tax overpayment claims and state taxation department expenses incurred in administering the sports wagering tax levy. Thereafter:
- 98% to Sports Gaming Profits Education Fund to support primary and secondary education, interscholastic athletics, and other extracurricular activities; and
- 2% to Problem Sports Gaming Fund to support costs of program services to alleviate sports wagering problem gaming.
LICENSE FEES
Type A Proprietor – Professional Sports Team (contracting with one mobile management services provider): $1.150 million initial fee and 5-year renewal fee. Includes an application fee of $150,000.
Type A Proprietor – Professional Sports Team (contracting with two mobile management services providers): $3.480 million initial fee and $1.150 million 5-year renewal fee. Includes an application fee of $150,000.
All Other Type A Proprietors (contracting with one mobile management services provider): $1.65 million initial fee and 5-year renewal fee. Includes an application fee of $150,000.
All Other Type A Proprietors (contracting with two mobile management service providers): $5.150 million initial fee and $1.65 million 5-year renewal fee. Includes an application fee of $150,000.
Type B Proprietor this is also a Type A Proprietor: $160,000 initial fee and 5-year renewal fee. Includes an application fee of $20,000.
All Other Type B Proprietors: $110,000 initial fee and 5-year renewal fee. Includes an application fee of $20,000.
Type C Proprietors: $115,000 initial fee and 5-year renewal fee. Includes an application fee of $15,000.
Type C Gaming Host: $1,000 initial fee and 3-year renewal fee.
